St. Mary's College Under 19s beat Sripalee outright

Under 19 cricket team of St. Mary's College recorded a great victory against Sripalee College, Horana in a Sri Lanka School Cricket Association tournament match played in Sripalee ground, Horana.

St. Mary's beat Sripalee by 9 wickets outright despite they were 33 runs behind in the first innings.

St. Mary's won the toss and let Sripalee to bat. Sripalee College team was all out for 155.

St. Mary's could score only 122 in the first innings.

Playing with extreme determination on the second day St. Mary's boys reduced Sripalee College to 66 all out in overs in the second innings. St. Mary's captain Kasun Samera de Alwis excelled taking 8 wickets for 32 in his spellbound left arm off spinning. He bagged 10 wickets for 62 in the two innings.

St. Mary's former captain Thisaru Priyalalitha scored an unbeaten half century in its for 01 to win the match.
