Traditional Big Match Discussion on February 07

St. Mary's College, Matugama and Ananda Sastralaya, Matugama will have the traditional Big Match Discussion on February 07 at the St. Mary's College, the host school of the 50th anniversary big match.

The discussion will be chaired by the Principal of St. Mary's College Jayasiri Gajaweera and the Ananda Sastralaya delegation will be led by Acting Principal Premadasa Ranaweera.

Representatives of the school staff and the past pupils' associations will participate in the discussion.

St. Mary's won against Siddhartha Balapitiya; Kasun Sameera 13 wickets

St. Mary's College, Matugama recorded a great 153 runs outright victory against Sri Siddhartha College, Balapitiya in a match played in St. Mary's College ground on February 02 and 03. St. Mary's College captain Kasun Samera de Silva again bagged 13 wickets in this match while anchor opener Malan Disanayaka scored a superb half century.
